A Church Ignited:
In September of 2005, New
Light Christian Church launched our Capital Campaign
called "Building For The Future." By November we were
excited to see the serious financial commitments that
were made by our Church Family. It was clear to all of
us that God was on the move and we were in agreement
that it was time to won our own church facility.
A Church Encouraged:
In January, the Lord drew our attention to the
Findlay Street Christian Church in Rainier Valley. As a
congregation, we were excited and encouraged about the
opportunity to continue serving "The Valley" from a
permanent location.
A Church on Fire:
We believe God is calling us to do a mighty work in
the Rainier Valley.
Our Mission: To
make Disciples of Christ, and teach them to
obey His commandments. Matthew 28:19
Our Vision: to be a multi-ethnic,
multi-denomination, multi-cultural,
inner-city church Glorifying God becoming
united and spiritually
mature changing lives though the gospel of
Jesus. It is our hope and prayer that New
Light Christian Church will be a place where
Jesus
Christ is glorified where people age and
ethnic background come together to worship,
to witness, and to win those who are empty
spiritually, to a growing relationship with
Christ.
New Light Christian Church is to be a place
that meets the needs of the total person; a
place that is open Seven days a week;
offering
ministries to the body of Christ; and our
greater community, for the furtherance of
the Gospel of Christ

The Vision Fulfilled on Findlay
Street:
We Believe God has directed us to a Church Facility
that is centrally located in the Rainier Valley.
2 blocks east of Rainier Ave it is easily accessible by
bus.
There are many schools and business in the immediate
area.
We have room (over 11,000 sq ft) to expand our
ministries and build on existing ones.
We want to touch our community by offering the following
services.
Men's & Women's Bible Studies geared toward
community outreach
Counseling Center for family is in need.
Clothing Bank
Women's Shelter
Dedicated Christian Library & Learning Center
Tutoring Services to surrounding schools
English as second Language classes
Staged Concerts, Dance & Theater
Community dinner & movie nights
Christian Daycare Center

Our Walk of Faith:
Our initial need was $500,000.00 for the purchase of
The Findlay Street Church. The amount left to raise is
$192,000 by September 2006.
